Chempion Amplifier

Klon Buffer

What does a buffer do? It converts signal impedance, presents a high input impedance to the guitar and sends a constant low impedance signal to the next device in the chain. It is used in guitar signal change to manage the effect of the capacitance loading by cable or impedance loading by hardwire bypass pedals with low input impedances. In short, that stops long pedal board chains and long cables from taking some the signal from your guitar.
